Using a sought-after 1960 Strat as its foundation, this guitar is undeniably vintage at its core. This is “golden era” playing experience is bolstered by the 1-piece quarter sawn Maple neck, which features a comfortable '60 style Oval C profile. The neck is adorned with a beautiful AAA Dark Rosewood fretboard and jumbo 6100 frets, which lend a modern twist to this Strat’s playability and enable effortless bending.

The highly resonant Alder body provides this Strat with a lovely natural voice that boasts crisp highs, clear mids and a defined low-end. It’s coated in an old-school nitrocellulose finish, which looks better as it ages and enhances sustain.

Gorgeous Worn-In Look

This Stratocaster has undergone the Custom Shop’s Relic treatment, which gives it an authentic worn-in aesthetic. Every part of this guitar has been carefully processed, including playing wear and aged hardware, to give it the timeless character of an instrument that’s been played for years.

Equipped with a trio of handwound Fat '60s pickups, this Custom Shop Stratocaster can pull off all the quintessential tones and more. Featuring a sweet and crisp articulation, these single-coils convey the delicate nuances of your playing style. They’ve been slightly overwound, which provides a punchy low-end that works for more modern tones as well as classic ones. The middle pickup uses a Reverse-Wound/Reverse-Polarity build, which cancels out him.
