Whether you are looking to sell or trade your old musical instruments and equipment we have made the process fast and friction-free! Simply complete the form above and submit your details, a member of our team will then provide a sale and trade-in valuation via email within 48hrs.

Once you accept the offer we will arrange either a free collection from your home address (exclusions apply) or you can drop you item off at our Brighton retail store.

We will then take an honest and transparent approach to assessing your item to confirm the condition and authorise payment or trade-in value. If you are selling the item we will make payment within 48hrs.

We are looking for electric guitars, acoustic guitars, bass guitars, effects pedals and rack units, amplifiers, synths and keyboards, studio equipment and drums. If you have any items from these categories we would be happy to consider an offer, from cheap & cheerful to vintage & rare!

Please note that we cannot offer a collection service on large or fragile items like PA speakers, value amplifiers and weighted keyboards or synths.

We don’t accept used microphones or headphones for hygiene reasons.

Once an offer is accepted we will make payment by your preferred method, cash (in store only) PayPal or Bank Transfer within 48hrs.

If you have multiple items you would like to sell or trade we would be more than happy to assess the value and make an offer. In this case please enter the details of one of the items in the form above and simply let us know in the notes that you have more items to quote.

Perhaps you have your eye on a new piece of equipment or haven't saved quite enough to buy your ideal upgrade? When making a purchase with GAK, you can use the gear you already own as currency towards your new item(s). Follow the same steps as above to receive your valuation and you can use the amount towards your new basket.
