The JHS Angry Charlie V3 has five controls - Volume, Drive, Bass, Mids and Treble. The Volume simply controls the output volume, Drive lets you control how much overdrive enters the signal path, and the Bass, Mids, and Treble controls act as a cut/boost, so when they’re set at noon they have no effect, but by turning them clockwise they boost the bass, mid or treble frequency amounts, and anti-clockwise cuts those frequencies, so you can shape your tone accurately.
This is great for anyone wanting classic Marshall tones in a compact pedal, this would make a great addition to a pedalboard, and ideal for anyone who wants classic overdrive sounds without needing to buy a bulky amp.
