This Fender Custom Shop 1960 J-Bass’s impressive spec includes a 2-piece Alder body (specially chosen for its lighter weight), a Quarter Sawn Maple neck (sculpted to a comfortable '60 J-Bass “U” profile), AAA Dark Rosewood fretboard (picked for its distinct darkness colour), modern Medium Jumbo 6150 frets and dual handwound Vintage Jazz Bass pickups.
The Custom Shop have given this '60 J-Bass their Relic treatment, which imparts the authentic worn-in wear of a battle-hardened vintage Fender. Featuring extensive finish checking, exposed wood, oxidised hardware and discoloured parts - this guitar has been a faithful companion through countless gigs and performances over the decades.
