With a traditionally styled Eastern Poplar body, a balanced set of three Wilkinson WVS vintage-voiced Alnico V pickups, and a Wilkinson WVC vibrato bridge, the Vintage V6MR Icon in Distressed Laguna Blue is every bit a masterpiece of detail, classic style, and pure playability.

The WVS pickups feature staggered, chamfered edge pole pieces for that classic SSS tone and power, while the reverse wound, reverse polarity centre pickup provides hum cancelling options in switch positions 2 and 4. A positive location, 6 screw trem/bridge design, with ‘push-in’ variable tension delrin-bushed arm, provides an accurate return to pitch; perpendicular bend, high grade steel saddles enhance tonality and ‘snap’, and a ground base plate corner provides authentic looks.

Speed, comfort, and ultimate playability are provided by a Classic Vintage ‘soft C’ profile Maple neck, and a traditional 10" radius fingerboard. Medium profile frets add to the comfort, accuracy and classic feel of the Vintage V6MR, while the addition of a Graphite top nut, and Wilkinson WJ55 E-Z-Lok locking tuners ensure that tuning remains both constant and stable; staggered string posts, a feature usually only seen on higher priced instruments, provide the ideal string rake angle for smooth vibrato action and correct playing tension.
