Vintage V501 Western Dreadnought Acoustic, Satin Natural Overview

The Vintage V501 Acoustic Dreadnought is the perfect example of the Vintage design team’s ongoing quest for innovation, authentic tone and superb playability. Well aware that there’s a lot more to a dreadnought acoustic guitar than just sounding big, Vintage have ensured that there’s also an air of projection, volume, and authority.

Crafted with a satin-finished Mahogany back and sides and a solid sitka spruce top, the output is indeed big, but has all the sonic merits that add up to an outstanding big bodied acoustic guitar. From soft arpeggio to vibrant percussive strumming, the V501 retains detailed, touch-sensitive harmonics and dynamics, with impressive volume and projection. Other features include a mahogany headstock bedecked with smooth-geared closed back, chrome tuners and an Eastern Mahogany neck and profile that’s a pleasure to cradle. Fret dressings are a Vintage speciality and combined with a silky smooth, bound fingerboard, offer excellent action and playability, while the stylish details continue with Maple body binding, herringbone/abalone soundhole rosette design, inlaid Vintage ‘V’ motif at the 12th fret, NuBone saddle and transparent pickguard.

Features includes:
  • Solid sitka top
  • Mahogany back and sides
  • Eastern Mahogany neck
  • Bound fingerboard
  • NuBone saddle and Chrome, die cast machine heads

  • With a huge amount of understated class, the Vintage V501 is unreservedly recommended as a scarily good dreadnought acoustic.
