Vintage V501 Western Dreadnought Acoustic, Satin Mahogany Overview

Vintage V501 Western Dreadnought Acoustic, Satin Mahogany is the perfect example of the Vintage design team’s ongoing quest for innovation, authentic tone and superb playability. Well aware that there’s a lot more to a dreadnought acoustic guitar than just sounding big, Vintage have ensured that there’s also an air of projection, volume, and authority.

The theme throughout is All-Mahogany, with a satin finish for the back, sides and a solid Mahogany top. This all-mahogany uniform construction includes an Eastern Mahogany neck with a profile that’s a pleasure to cradle. Tthe output is indeed big, but with all the sonic merits that add up to an outstanding big bodied acoustic guitar. From soft arpeggio to vibrant percussive strumming, the V501 retains detailed, touch-sensitive harmonics and dynamics, with impressive volume and projection. Fret dressings are a Vintage speciality and combined with a silky smooth, bound fingerboard, offer excellent action and playability, while the stylish details continue with a herringbone/abalone soundhole rosette design, inlaid Vintage ‘V’ motif at the 12th fret, NuBone saddle and a transparent pickguard.

Features includes:
  • Mahogany top, back and sides
  • Eastern Mahogany neck
  • Bound fingerboard
  • NuBone saddle and Chrome, die cast machine heads

  • With a huge amount of understated class, the Vintage V501 is unreservedly recommended as a scarily good dreadnought acoustic.
