Ibanez AAD100E Dreadnought Electro Acoustic, Open Pore Natural Overview

The Ibanez AAD100E is an electro-acoustic guitar with a solid Sitka spruce top, a North American wood that produces a broad dynamic range, with clear articulation, and it sounds good whatever style of music you’re playing, and Okoume back and sides. The open-pore natural finish enhances the natural acoustic look and sound of the wood, while the neck is made from Nyatoh with a 20-fret ovangkol fingerboard and rounded edges to make it smoother to play.

The Ibanez AAD100E has Ibanez Advantage bridge pins, making it easy to restring your guitar as the pins are easier to take in and out than traditional bridge pins, and also make it so you can’t push the pins in too far. It has an Ibanez AP11 Magnetic Pickup mounted at the end of the fretboard, which delivers a great response to the whole frequency range and enhances the guitar’s natural acoustic tone as well as an Ibanez Custom Electronics preamp.

The Ibanez AAD100E Advanced Acoustic represents an important step forward in the long and storied tradition of the acoustic guitar. In what amounts to a fully reimagined acoustic experience, these instruments were designed from the ground up to deliver a richer, brighter, and louder tone, with an unprecedentedly wide dynamic range. With slightly larger than typical proportions, we decided to name this new body shape the “Grand Dreadnought.” This reinvented design achieves a superb, powerful sound, and thanks to the extensive consideration given to the ergonomics, it’s extremely comfortable to play. The Advanced Acoustic series pushes the acoustic guitar to new heights, in a way that promises an exciting new experience for all players.
