Stylish Construction
This Squier Jazz Bass Gold Edition is made of solid Nyatoh. This tonewood offers warm, punchy tones and low-midrange that’s reminiscent of Mahogany. The Nyatoh body is paired with a Maple neck that’s carved to a comfortable “C” shape profile. This is a versatile and inviting neck shape that allows you to pull off a wide range of styles and techniques with ease. The Maple neck also features a smooth Indian Laurel fretboard, 20 frets and a vintage-style Jazz Bass headstock.
Classic Bass Electronics
The Squier Jazz Bass Gold Edition provides a bouncy and bright tone with plenty of bite that can handle Rock, Funk, Jazz and more. Whether it’s fingerpicking, slapping or using a plectrum, the two Fender Designed Alnico 5 Single Coils pickups provide a massive tone that won’t go unnoticed. The 2 volume and master tone controls deliver plenty of tonal versatility, from bright and barking to deep and throaty. With these tonal options at your fingertips, you can tailor the Squier Jazz Bass Gold Edition to any genre or style - whether it’s on stage, in the studio or at home. There’s a reason why legendary bassists such as Flea, Geddy Lee and Jaco Pastorius have favoured the Jazz Bass above all others.
