Fender Custom Shop Masterbuilt Vincent Van Trigt '60s Strat Journeyman Relic, Aged Olympic White Overview
This astounding Fender Custom Shop '60s Stratocaster in Aged Olympic White was hand-built by renowned Master Builder Vincent Van Trigt. Van Trigt crafted this '60s Strat from start to finish using the finest tonewoods and components. The result is a truly elite instrument that’s bound to surpass your expectations.
A highlight of this Fender Custom Shop '60s Strat are its beautiful tonewoods, which includes a resonant Roasted Alder body, a stunning AA Flame Maple neck (carved to a classic '60s-style Oval “C” profile) and a smooth AAA Rosewood fretboard. The 9.5" radius fretboard is topped with 21 Medium 47095 frets, which present a slightly more modern feel compared to the smaller Vintage 45085 frets.
Electrifying this guitar’s crisp, articulate natural voice are a trio of Handwound '60s Strat pickups. These single-coils are made with Alnico 2 magnets and are faithful recreations of an iconic 1960s design, guaranteeing an authentically “Golden Era” tone. This particular set was wound by Fender’s current Queen of Pickups - Josefina Campos.
The Journeyman Relic treatment imparts the inviting played in look and feel of a vintage Fender guitar that’s been lovingly taken care of over the years. It’s a more subtle ageing process that includes moderate finish checking, discoloured parts and oxidised hardware.
