Boss TE-2 Tera Echo Delay Pedal Overview
The Boss TE-2 Tera Echo is an ambient, stereo reverb/delay stomp-box, perfect for creating ethereal textures and soundscapes with your guitar. The TE-2 utilises the Boss MDP (Multi Dimensional processor) technology with real time DSP effects to produce incredible sounds which are unattainable with analog-circuitry.The TE-2 can be used in either stereo or mono using the dedicated inputs and outputs and has a wide range of tonal adjustments using the simple controls of the pedal. A 'Freeze' function allows you to hold the ambient texture in the background while you play lead lines over the top. This a truly wonderful pedal which will enrich and enhance your sound with ease.
GAK's Boss TE-2 FAQ's
Q1: What is DSP?
A: DSP stands for Digital Signal Processing. DSP is used in the TE-2 to take an analog signal from your instrument and convert it to digital, effects can then be processed over the signal in real time.
Q2: How do I use the 'Freeze' function?
A: To use the freeze function you need to gently push down on the pedal when you play until you see the light flash green. The TE-2 will now hold that ambient sound in the background until you take your foot off the pedal.
Q3: How long is the battery life?
A: The TE-2 uses a 9V PP-3 type battery. Using an Alkaline battery (6LR61) will give around 6 hours of use. The TE-2 can also be powered by an optional AC adapter such as the Boss PSA.
