Walrus Audio Julianna Stereo Chorus Pedal Overview
Walrus Audio Julianna Stereo Chorus Pedal is an analogue stereo chorus and vibrato pedal that builds on the Julia Analogue Chorus and Vibrato pedal and has some new features. The Julianna Stereo Chorus Pedal delivers a mild, smooth chorus tone as well as seasick, warbling vibratos and everything in between.
The Julianna Stereo Chorus Pedal has all the same features found on the Julia pedal including the Lag control, which lets you set the centre delay time that the LFO modulate to deliver a smooth, tight modulation at a lower setting, and a warbling detuned tone at the maximum setting.
The D-C-V (Dry-Chorus-Vibrato) blend control knob, which sets the ratio of dry to wet signal through the mono channel, delivers pitch vibrato in the fully clockwise position, and the noon position blends chorus and vibrato.
Turning the D-C-V knob fully anticlockwise will send your dry signal into the mono output and vibrato signal to the stereo output to get a classic stereo chorus sound. By turning the knob to the left or to the right fractionally you can discover some unique blends and take your sound to another dimension.
It keeps the soft switching capabilities of the Julia pedal so you won’t hear loud clicks as you turn the pedal on and off.
Expression Control
Control the depth, rate, or both with an expression pedal
Tap Tempo Control
Use the Rate knob or tap tempo switch to set the LFO rate.
Stereo In/Out Jacks
Run mono in/mono out, mono in/stereo out, or use the stereo in/stereo out for all the lush sounds.
Momentary Secondary LFO speed
Hold down the bypass switch and turn the Rate knob to set a second LFO rate, then hold the tap switch to speed up or slow down to the secondary LFO rate.
Drift Function
Drift is the secondary function of the Depth control knob. Speed up or slow down the current LFO Rate by holding down the bypass and turning the Depth knob up.
Random LFO shape
As well as the sin and triangle shapes, there’s also a random wave shape option so you can modulate the pitch of your signal
Tap Division
Select quarter note, quarter note triplet or eighth note multiplier to scale a tempo you’ve tapped in.
The Walrus Audio Julianna Stereo Chorus Pedal is great for those who want a lush, subtle chorus, full-sounding chords or a singing 80s synth-wave sound, and the stereo is especially great for getting a great live sound.
