With a traditionally styled Eastern Poplar body, a pair of Wilkinson WVS vintage-voiced Alnico V pickups, and a Wilkinson WVC double coil pickup in the bridge position, the Vintage V6HMR Icon in Distressed Laguna Blue is every bit a masterpiece of detail, classic style, and pure playability.

The WVS pickups feature staggered, chamfered edge pole pieces for that classic SSS tone and power, while the double coil WVC provides high output and a hum cancelling operation. A positive location, 6 screw trem/bridge design, with ‘push-in’ variable tension delrin-bushed arm, provides an accurate return to pitch; perpendicular bend, high grade steel saddles enhance tonality and ‘snap’, and a ground base plate corner provides authentic looks.

Speed, comfort, and ultimate playability are provided by a Classic Vintage ‘soft C’ profile Maple neck, and a traditional 10" radius fingerboard. 22 Medium Profile frets add to the comfort, accuracy and classic feel of the V6HMR, while the addition of a Graphite top nut, and Wilkinson WJ55 E-Z-Lok locking tuners ensure that tuning remains both constant and stable; staggered string posts, a feature usually only seen on higher priced instruments, provide the ideal string rake angle for smooth vibrato action and correct playing tension.
