Squier FSR Affinity Telecaster Deluxe, Silverburst Overview
The Fender Squier Affinity Range has been refreshed for the first time since 2017 to include new and updated features that today’s players demand, as well as new models and colours to breathe life into the Squier Affinity series. Key components have been upgraded such as tremolo bridges, pickups, tuning machines, and aesthetic updates such as gloss headstocks and updated logos, re-establishing the Squier Affinity range as a great option for beginners who want an electric guitar or bass guitar that looks and sounds great at an affordable price.
The Fender Squier Affinity Telecaster Deluxe has a retro look with a lightweight poplar body that delivers a resonant and meaty tone as well as making it more comfortable to play, a 25.5" scale length, a maple neck with a comfortable ‘C’ shape profile and satin finish for better playability, and a smooth Indian laurel fretboard with 21 medium jumbo frets. It has a 6-saddle string-through-body hardtail bridge with block saddles which provides precise intonation and great tuning stability, a synthetic bone nut, and sealed die-cast tuning machines with split shafts that allow for smooth, accurate tuning and an easy restringing experience, which is ideal for beginners who just want to practice playing.
For pickups, it has a pair of ceramic humbuckers and a 3-way pickup switcher delivering a range of warm, rich humbucking tones. To complete the Fender Squier Affinity Telecaster Deluxe is a white pickguard, black control knobs, chrome hardware and a new Burgundy Mist finish.
