GAK Overview
Celebrating 40 golden years of accessible, high-quality, stylish guitars.
Over the years, Squier has become renowned for their cost-effective substitutes to the Fender range, without lacking in sound quality, classic designs and premium hardware. Celebrating 40 years of accessible entry-level guitars, the Gold Edition Squiers add an extra amount of glam and style to your playing, featuring matching gold hardware and a gloss body/neck finish.
Flawless Construction
This Squier Telecaster Gold Edition features a Nyatoh body, meeting close to the warm and earthy sound of Mahogany. Complimented with the classic “C” shaped neck, which boasts a Maple tonewood topped with an Indian Laurel fretboard. These combined create a comfortable and slick performance, letting you glide your hand seamlessly across the frets as well as perform powerful and flexible bends. Together with 21 frets and classic Telecaster headstock.
Fender Designed Pickups
The Squier Telecaster Gold Edition comes equipped with two Fender Design Single-Coil pickups with Alnico 5 Magnets, providing the bright and snappy tone the Telecaster is known for. The volume and tone control together with the 3-way switch lets you easily adjust your sound and give you full control over your tone, whether you want the classic Tele “Twang” or cleaner, lighter tones.
Quality Hardware
The Squier 40th Anniversary gold Tele is built with a 3-saddle string-through-body bridge that provides the most authentic performance and style. With vintage-style tuners that not only ensure longlasting tuning stability but also match the stylish golden hardware.
Other features include the Gold Anodized Aluminum Pickguard, a 40th anniversary neckplate, and a vintage-inspired headstock logo.
With exceptional looks and sound that’s addictive to play, the Squier 40th Anniversary Telecaster Gold Edition offers the classic tones and designs of the early Squiers with all modern hardware, that ensures high-quality performance and is well worth the attention of vintage enthusiasts.
