Very accurate (at least for us as home users) and picks up very well, even on a not so resonant cheaper 1/2 size electric guitar. The ball joints are quite stiff, maybe they will free up with use. I can now see what people mean about these tuners being fragile though. With care it should survive daily home use no problem but gigging and transporting regularly, I don't know. They are excellent value however.
