Seymour Duncan Apollo Jazz Pickup (5 String, 70mm Bridge) Overview

The Seymour Duncan Apollo Jazz pickup is the culmination of years of research into improving an already almost perfect instrument. Kevin Beller, Seymour Duncan's head of R&D, has found a way of enhancing the versatile grunt, whump and burp of Jazz bass pickups whilst simultaneously eliminating issues that have dogged players for years: most notably unwanted hum and string volume disparity.

The Apollo Jazz pickups may look like single coils, but in fact they have 2 coils side by side under a single cover. This renders them totally noiseless without sacrificing the Jazz Bass identity. The Apollo Jazz pickup is available for the bridge and neck for 4 string and 5 string basses. You can get the 5 string set in 67mm or 70mm for the neck and 70mm or 74mm for the bridge depending on your individual instrument's pickup cavities and string spacing.

The Apollos use hand ground Alnico 5 rod magnets and Forbon flatwork. They are vacuum-wax potted in Santa Barbara and undergo the most rigorous quality control. If you're looking for the next step in high quality Jazz Bass pickups, look no further than the Seymour Duncan Apollos.
