Schecter Banshee GT FR S, Satin Charcoal Burst Overview

The Banshee GT-FR S is part of Schecter’s Banshee series which features a re-imagined Banshee shape with deep cutaways which lets you easily reach the upper frets while shredding and a ‘GT’ racing stripe across the body.
This model has a mahogany body with a flamed maple top, a 3-piece maple neck with an Ultra-Thin ‘U’ profile making it easy and smooth to play while shredding and carbon fibre reinforcement rods to provide extra strength. This is topped with an ebony fretboard with 24 extra-jumbo frets.
The Banshee GT-FR S also features Schecter tuners and a Schecter exclusive Floyd Rose Special ‘Hot Rod’ Locking Tremolo and Floyd Rose Special nut that allows you to lock your guitar in tune at the nut and the bridge. It also has a 25.5” scale length and comes with Ernie Ball Regular Slinky strings (.010-.046).
For pickups, it has an EMG 81 at the bridge, which delivers lots of high-end cut and fluid sustain, and a Sustainiac at the neck, which simulates the feedback circuit like when you stand near a loud amp, and the Sustainiac works by taking the signal from the bridge pickup, amplifying it, maintaining it and then feeding it to the driver at the neck, which works as an electromagnet to move the strings. Included is a 2-piece 9-volt clip-in battery compartment so the note lasts as long as the battery lasts.
To complete the Banshee GT-FR S is offset/reverse Roman Numeral inlays, black hardware and a Satin Charcoal Burst finish with matching headstock.
