Ibanez RG60ALS Axion Label, Black Aurora Burst Matte Overview

The Ibanez Axion Label models are designed for metal guitarists and were first introduced in 2019, with ultra-modern features like the Nitro Wizard 5-piece neck, luminescent side dots, Sustainiac sustainer, and Schaller strap lock pins.

The Ibanez RG60ALS has a Nyatoh body, a super-thin Nitro Wizard 5-piece Panga Panga / Walnut neck which provides great playability and sustains, as well as being incredibly durable. It’s topped with a beautiful Macassar ebony fretboard with 24 Sub Zero treated frets, making it long-lasting. There’s also an Edge-Zero II tremolo bridge which provides great tuning stability, even with the craziest pitch bends and dive bombs, as well as precise intonation.

For pickups, it has a DiMarzio Fusion Edge pickup at the bridge, which is the result of a direct collaboration between Ibanez and DiMarzio and offers a powerful tone, a cutting high-end and great clarity, while the SUSTAINIAC Driver in the neck position delivers incredible sustain and is wired to ‘Stealth PRO’ preamp, allowing for a wide range of expression with the 3-way Sustainiac mode selector.

To complete the Ibanez RG60ALS are luminescent side dot inlays so you can easily see where you’re at in low light conditions, a luminescent Ibanez headstock logo, Schaller S-Lock strap lock pins which securely holds your guitar in place while also being convenient to take the strap on or off quickly, and has an eye-catching Black Aurora Burst Matte finish.
