Ibanez AZ24027 Prestige 7 String, Tri-Fade Burst Flat Overview
This model is part of the AZ Prestige series, guitars with a subtle yet classic look that are crafted in Japan and made using the best luthiers, processes and materials to create a great high-quality guitar. This 7-string model has an Alder body, which provides a clear, full-bodied sound, and ergonomic rear body contour to provide maximum comfort while playing.
The S-Tech Wood Roasted Maple Neck and fretboard are where the wood has been heat treated to make the wood less susceptible to temperature changes and moisture, improving the stability and durability. The fretboard has 24 Jumbo frets and Prestige fret edge treatment, so the fret ends are rounded, and black dot inlays. There is also a Gotoh tremolo and locking machine heads, a dyna-MIX10 switching system, and luminlay side dots which is great for low-light conditions.
For pickups, it has two Seymour Duncan Hyperion 7 humbuckers at the bridge and neck, which provide a bright, warm, evenly balanced tone, and the look is completed with a Tri Fade Burst Flat finish.
