Ibanez AE325 Grand Auditorium Acoustic, Natural Low Gloss Overview
The Ibanez AE325 Grand Auditorium Acoustic is an electro-acoustic guitar that has the striking combination of a solid Sitka spruce top and flamed Okoume back and sides. Sitka originates from North America and provides clear articulation and a broad dynamic range, so it’s great for playing many styles of music, whether you’re fingerpicking or strumming. Okoume is a tonewood from Central Africa that’s a more lightweight and sustainable alternative to mahogany that produces a full, rich sound. The neck is made from African mahogany and Pau Ferro, mounted with a Macassar ebony fretboard which has rounded edges making it smoother and more comfortable to play.
The Ibanez AE325 also has a dual pickup system which includes an AP11 magnetic pickup and a T-bar undersaddle pickup, which combined let you choose between a more articulate tone, or adding more presence. The look is completed with a specially-designed wooden vine inlay and luminescent side dot inlays making it easier to see while playing in low light environments.
