Guild S-100 Polara Newark St, Cherry Red Overview

The Guild S-100 Polara is an amazing 70's throwback with a look and feel that screams pure vintage. S-100 models have found themselves in the hands of bands like Soundgarden and The Lawrence Arms, so it has some serious alt-rock street cred.

The S-100's solid mahogany body and set mahogany neck give it a resonant and throaty tone that is at home with heavy metal as it is with jazz. A pair of Guild HB-1 humbuckers, each with their own individual volume and tone respond well to gain and break up nicely. Other features include a rosewood fingerboard with block inlays, classic Guild headstock logo and a Guild compensated stopbar tailpiece with a Tune-O-Matic bridge.
