Focusrite’s Scarlett 4i4 USB interface, previously the 2i4, has had its flexibility upgraded with a pair of dedicated line inputs.

Four In, Four Out

Low Latency Recording

In addition, the 4i4 features four balanced outputs (which can be used for playback, monitoring and effect sends) and two inputs on the front panel that can be used for vocals or instruments. These inputs are high headroom, so they’re perfect for ultra-low latency, direct recording of guitar and bass. Focusrite’s innovative Scarlett preamps are equipped with an Air mode that introduces additional high-end clarity and definition - perfect for recording vocals or adding presence to instruments.

Record On The Go

For a compact and portable interface, the 4i4 offers an impressive array of connectivity. The 4i4 interface also features USB bus power - no additional power supply needed. This makes the 4i4 a brilliant choice for travelling musicians, synth and keyboard users and producers/engineers that want to record multiple audio sources remotely.

Podcast Ready

The third-generation 4i4 interface has also been equipped with a Loopback function, which is perfect for podcasting and streaming applications as it allows you to capture a stereo audio signal from any combination of hardware or software inputs and then route it to your DAW.

Wireless Control

The Scarlett 4i4 is compatible with the free Focusrite Control software. This user-friendly software allows you to configure routing, monitor mixes, playback levels, metering, preamp features and more from your PC, Mac or wirelessly from your iPad, iPhone or iPod touch. To download Focusrite Control, simply register your interface and the software will be added to your account.
