The Fender Player Plus Active Jazz Bass V features a contoured Alder body. Alder is a staple Fender tonewood renowned for its light weight and full-bodied, resonant tone. The durable Maple neck is sculped to a comfortable modern “C” profile and boasts a silky satin finish for effortless playability. The Player Plus Active Jazz Bass V’s smooth Maple fretboard features 20 Medium Jumbo frets, a 12" radius, 34" scale and rolled edges for maximum left-hand comfort. Tonally, Maple delivers a crisp, sharp attack that promotes note definition.
