Classic Tele Tone

This FSR Player Telecaster features a classic Fender tonewood combination - an Alder body and a Maple neck - which gives it that timeless Tele sound. There’s no doubting the versatility and sonic pedigree of this guitar.

The Alder body gives this guitar a full, defined & balanced core tone whilst the Maple neck boosts note definition and sustain.

The neck has been meticulously designed to provide an effortless, high-performance playing experience. That’s why Fender have opted for a comfortable Modern “C” neck profile, which is suited to a wide variety of playing styles, and a super smooth satin back finish. The Maple fingerboard sports 22 medium jumbo frets, which make soaring bends and complex chording a breeze.

Upgraded Pickups

Fender have equipped this version of their FSR Player Telecaster with a pair of Pure Vintage '52 pickups, which significantly upgrade the standard model. These top-quality single-coils are constructed from Alnico 3 magnets and have been precisely wound to deliver an authentically old-school Tele voice - with the crispness, clarity and twang that you’d expect.

These pickups are primed to give you that quintessential Fender sound from the period-correct cloth wiring to the vintage bobbin construction.

Beautiful Finish

Part of what makes this Fender Player Telecaster stand out from the crowd is its looks, with a body that’s been hand-shaped to original Fender specifications, single-ply pickguard and beautiful Aged Natural finish (which is exclusive to the limited-edition FSR series).
