Eastman ACTG1 Travel Acoustic Overview
The Eastman ACTG1 Travel Acoustic has a smaller body than a normal guitar and a short 23.5” scale which makes it great for travelling, anyone who wants a more portable guitar, or those with smaller hands who want to learn on something a little smaller.
The ACTG1 has a solid Sitka spruce top which is commonly used on guitars, delivering a crisp articulation, a broad dynamic range and sounds good for a variety of playing styles. The Eastman ACTG1 has Sapele laminate back and sides, a wood that is similar to mahogany but has more treble and some more subtle, complex overtones. The hand-carved scalloped X bracing provides more bass, and more responsive, and can be louder than guitars with straight bracing.
The neck is made from mahogany, which delivers a warm, mellow tone and is topped with a rosewood fingerboard. This classic combination provides thick lows and a warm midrange.
The Eastman ACTG1 is completed with a rosewood bridge, a bone nut, chrome hardware, and comes with a padded gig bag so you can take the ACTG1 wherever you want.
