Overview by GAK
The Yamaha THR30IIA Wireless amplifier has everything an acoustic guitarist might need whether they’re just practising at home, playing gigs, or on the road. Get professional studio sound with realistic microphone modelling and built-in effects - you can choose dynamic, condenser or tube mic emulations, as well as flat top and nylon-string acoustic settings. The three-band EQ lets you choose from two types of reverb and either delay, chorus, or a mix of the two. You can save your favourite tones to one of the five built-in memory slots.
The combination of its compact size, rechargeable battery, and built-in Line 6 Relay wireless receiver means you can take it wherever you want, and just focus on the music. Bluetooth enabled stereo audio playback so you can stream music through the amp, and it also lets you edit from your phone which is great if you’re on the move.
The THR30IIA Wireless amp’s other features include a second input with a mic preamp, so it’s great for travelling singer-songwriters who want to practice anywhere. Turn the amp into a USB audio interface, just plug the THR30IIA into your PC and record into your favourite DAW, and listen back with the headphones output jack. There’s even a built-in tuner so no need to carry extra equipment. It supports the Yamaha Rec’n’Share app so you can record your performances and then upload and share them from your mobile, whether it’s audio or video.
