Vintage VSA500 Semi Acoustic, Cherry Red Overview
A timeless semi-hollow design, and sound, that has been the mainstay of countless blues, jazz, and rock musicians since the late 1950s, but in this instance a slightly off-set and comfortable centre block body is featured.
Finished in glorious Cherry Red, Maple is used for the majority of construction (top, sides, back, and neck), while the darker 12" radius fingerboard provides an incredibly positive feel and playability. 22 Medium Jumbo frets, 43mm Graphtech NuBone nut, Tune-O-Matic bridge, two vintage voiced twin-coil pickups - each with their own tone and volume controls; standard features for this type of guitar, and features which are executed with care and skill on this guitar. Immensly playable, and built to a standard way beyond its price, this guitar is one you won't be able to put down.
Whether you're searching for your first guitar or your last, every member of the Vintage ReIssued Series is a keeper. Play on.
What Vintage say:
From Bluesters and Big Banders to Bubblegum and Britpoppers, the sonorous voice of the semi acoustic has endeared itself to players of varying styles throughout the history of the electrified guitar.
Sporting two WOCHB double coil pickups, the Vintage VSA500 is equally adept when comping smooth jazz accompaniments as it is singing out single note blues lines, while its chambered body carries the sound of strummed chords all the way to the back row and beyond.
