Vintage V4MR Icon Bass, Distressed Firenza Red Overview

Designed to look and play like your lifetime companion, the eye catching V4MR Icon in Distressed Firenza Red features a highly resonant Eastern Poplar body, and a Hard Maple bolt on neck; comfort, speed, and accuracy with a great over all feel, is further enhanced by a traditional 12” radius fingerboard, and 20 Medium profile frets.

A single Wilkinson® WOBP single coil pickup provides excellent clarity and definition, which is easily manipulated by way of the independent master Volume and Tone controls to enable a versatile range of sounds. Wilkinson's compensated, brass saddle bridge gives improved intonation all over the fretboard, while their WJBL200 machine heads provide simple and effective action for maximum tuning stability; a 42mm black graphite nut adds to this stability, and provides the basis for smooth and friction-free string bending.

A Vintage ICON Series Bass already looks like your lifetime companion; the best part is your journey is just beginning. Play on.

What Vintage say:

The Vintage V4MRFR ICON bass replicates the beautiful, worn-in look and feel of an instrument that exhibits a lifetime's worth of woodshedding, rehearsing and performing, straight out of the box. Good things come to those who wait – but who has the time for that?

Featuring a Wilkinson WOBP pickup, compensated brass saddle bridge and improved upper fret access, the Vintage V4MRFR is true player’s instrument that’s ready to turn its hand to any number of musical styles.
