Combines a 5B shaft with an extended taper and elongated oval wood tip. The result is a design that provides superior response, sound and versatility. In close collaboration with Carter Beauford, our newly updated 2017 version of the original SBEA is now offered without the added Vic Grip coating.
Each Vic Firth Signature Series model was conceived though extensive discussion and research with the finest drummers from a variety of musical styles. The designs are a reflection of their musical requirements in terms of balance, feel, sound projection and cymbal colour. All sticks are in hickory. All coloured sticks feature a clear natural tip.
