Taylor 114ce Grand Auditorium Electro Acoustic, Left Handed Overview

The Taylor 114ce is a cutaway electro that's exceptional value for money. The 114ce Taylor's signature Grand Auditorium body shape and is put together so well and plays and sounds so good that it's as equally at home as a players first serious acoustic as it is as the working instrument of a more seasoned pro.

Blending layered walnut back and sides with a solid Sitka spruce top, it's a great all-around acoustic that responds well to strumming, fingerpicking and flatpicking. The 114ce also features Taylor's revolutionary NT neck system, something they spent a long time refining, meaning you’ll enjoy easy playability and accurate intonation as long as you own the guitar. And the Venetian cutaway gives you great access to the dusty end of the fingerboard.

Another Taylor revolution that features on the 114ce is the Expression System 2 (ES2) pickup. Taylor are known for making some of the pick-ups in the business and the ES2 continues this tradition perfectly. Some other pick-ups don't really capture the true voice of the guitars they sit in, but the ES2 produces a natural amplified acoustic voice that makes you sound your best every time you plug in.

With a simple and clean appointment scheme, including Italian acrylic dot fretboard inlays, a 3-ring rosette, plus black binding and a black pickguard that complement the look of the genuine ebony fretboard and bridge, the 114ce is an understated beauty.
