Sterling JP150D John Petrucci, Blood Orange Burst Overview
The JP150D has a Nyatoh body with a striking figured maple top, a durable roasted maple neck topped with an ebony fretboard with 24 stainless steel frets. It also has locking tuning machines and a modern tremolo which provides great tuning stability even with all the pitch bending.
For pickups, it has a DiMarzio LiquiFire humbucker at the neck, which provides a smooth, singing tone on overdrive, and a clear chord sound on clean settings, and there’s a DiMarzio Crunch Lab humbucker at the bridge which delivers a big, tight sound that doesn’t sound thin or muddy. There’s also a 3-way toggle switch so you can get the sound you need easily.
To complete the JP150 DiMarzio there are Custom JP inlays, a 4 + 2 headstock with John Petrucci signature, and a bold Blood Orange Burst finish.
