Squier Paranormal Series Cyclone, Candy Apple Red Overview
The Squier Paranormal Series is a range of unique and quirky guitars, featuring altered specs, once-forgotten shapes and classic/vintage hybrids and come in a range of finishes.
The Cyclone takes the small, offset body shape from the classic Mustang and takes it to a new, paranormal realm.
It has a lightweight poplar body with an easy-to-play 24.75” scale length, a bolt-on maple neck that has a comfortable ‘C’-shaped profile and has a silky gloss finish. The fretboard is made from smooth Indian laurel that has 22 frets and a 9.5” radius.
The Squier Paranormal Cyclone has a 6-saddle vintage-style synchronized tremolo bridge taken from a Stratocaster and vintage-style tuning machines for increased tuning stability.
For pickups, it has three Fender-designed Alnico single-coil pickups - the alnico magnets deliver a smooth, warm and musical tone, compared to ceramic pickups which tend to sound more brittle and harsh. The SSS configuration means you’ll get a versatile range of tones that’s ideal for various genres of music.
The Cyclone is completed with chrome hardware, a 4-ply aged white Pearloid pickguard, and is available in Candy Apple Red, Daphne Blue, Pearl White and Shell Pink.
