A modern take on an old classic, the Contemporary Series Jazzmaster has a host of upgrades and player-centric changes. The 9V Active Circuit with Squier's SQR Ceramic Humbuckers gives plenty of bite and heft in terms of output and are super quiet too.
The fully adjustable bridge with stopbar tailpiece makes for a lot more attack and sustain than a conventional Jazzmaster setup, making bending a whole lot easier. Bends are also aided by the Modern "C" shaped neck and a 12" Radius Indian Laurel Fretboard topped off with 21 Tall & Narrow (6105 style) Frets.
Either the blackout Graphite Metallic or the Surf Pearl finishes boast matching headstocks, black hardware and black pickguard. The simplified circuitry with a 3-way toggle for neck, bridge or both pickups, master volume and tone means you won't accidently knock that independent circuit whilst playing too.
