Squier Bullet Telecaster, Laurel, Black Overview
Squier Bullet Series
The Squier Bullet collection is one of their most cost-effective series of guitars, offering classic Fender designs at an affordable price. It’s a great range for beginners to start learning guitar on models that are stylish and affordable, and you can’t find a better place to start than with the Squier Bullet series of iconic Stratocasters, Telecasters, and Mustangs.
The variety in this collection makes it easy for new starters to find a guitar that suits them. The Squier Bullet Stratocaster is a versatile guitar that lets you play in a variety of styles with its three single-coil pickups. The Squier Bullet Telecaster also has single-coil pickups and is especially suited to fans of indie and country music. The Squier Bullet Mustang has thick-sounding dual humbuckers which makes it ideal for playing heavy rock as they’re better for overdrive and distortion. These are all available in a variety of bold, classic colours to suit your style.
The Squier Bullet Telecaster is a great starter guitar available in Black, or Brown Sunburst - both classic finishes. This model has a lightweight poplar body, and easy to play ‘C’-shaped maple neck, making it easy for beginners to learn.
There’s also Telecaster dual single-coil pickups with three-way switching, a hardtail six-saddle bridge for tuning stability, Indian laurel fretboard with 22 frets, and chrome hardware which all comes together to give you the classic Fender style and sound for a fraction of the price.
In all, this is a great choice for beginners who want to dip their toes into the world of guitars without making a huge commitment cost-wise.
Available in Black and Brown Sunburst.
For a slightly better guitar, try the Squier Affinity series guitars, which have an alder body and higher quality pickups.
What’s the difference between this and other brand guitars?
The Squier brand is the entry-level for the brand Fender, possibly the most iconic electric guitar brand in the world. The Telecaster shape is available from Fender from entry-level all the way up to collector level and is the choice of many a professional and guitar heroes.
If you want to upgrade, consider the Squier Affinity series, which uses an alder body and higher quality pickups. It’s still an entry-level guitar that’s good for beginners, just a slightly higher price point.
What is Hardtail?
It’s a version of the Stratocaster without a tremolo arm, which alters the pitch using a bar. This makes it more stable tuning wise and therefore better to learn on. Tremolo arm version Squier Bullets here
