Squier Affinity Series Jazzmaster, Laurel Fingerboard, Lake Placid Blue Overview
The Fender Squier Affinity Range has been refreshed for the first time since 2017 to include new and updated features that today’s players demand, as well as new models and colours to breathe life into the Squier Affinity series. Key components have been upgraded such as tremolo bridges, pickups, tuning machines, and aesthetic updates such as gloss headstocks and updated logos, re-establishing the Squier Affinity range as a great option for beginners who want an electric guitar or bass guitar that looks and sounds great at an affordable price.
The Fender Squier Affinity Jazzmaster has a thin and lightweight poplar body that provides a resonant and meaty tone as well as making it more comfortable to play, a 25.5" scale length, a maple neck with a comfortable ‘C’ shape profile, and a smooth Indian rosewood fretboard with 21 medium jumbo frets. It has a 2-point synchronized tremolo with block saddles which provide great tuning stability and better sustain, a synthetic bone nut, and sealed die-cast tuning machines with split shafts that provide smooth, accurate tuning and an easy restringing experience, which is ideal for beginners who just want to practice playing.
For pickups, it has a pair of ceramic single-coil pickups and a 3-way pickup switcher delivering a range of classic sounds, as well as a Volume knob and Tone knob to get just the right sound. To complete the Fender Squier Affinity Jazzmaster is black control knobs and pickguard, chrome hardware and a bold Lake Placid Blue finish.
