Sequential Pro 3 SE Multi-Filter Synthesizer Overview
This is the ultimate incarnation of Sequential’s universally acclaimed Pro 3, which is their latest attempt at designing the greatest monosynth the world has ever seen. Internally, the Pro 3 Special Edition (or SE) is identical to its sibling, with the same rich VCOs, multiple analogue filters & powerful sequencing. Externally is where this model earns its “SE” moniker, featuring luxurious wooden sides and a tiltable panel.
Special Edition
The Sequential Pro 3 SE boasts exterior upgrades that aren’t found on the standard version, providing it with a more organic, vintage-style aesthetic and an old-school workflow. The SE is adorned with gorgeous Walnut trim, including a brassy Sequential logo across the front, and features a Minimoog-esque three-position control panel. Not only does this give the Pro3 SE a premium, sophisticated look, it also allows you to ergonomically adapt the SE’s intuitive controls to your playing style.
If you need a more affordable, compact and lighter alternative to the SE, the standard Pro 3 is also available.
Brand New Wavetables
As part of their quest to make the Pro 3 the creative and inspiring mono synth in your arsenal, Sequential have released a new enhancement for it - completely free. Click here and you can download a new set of 32 high-quality wavetables for your Pro 3 as well as a fresh bank of 128 patches that use them. Each new patch features a unique sequence to give the sound context.
These wavetables are a major expansion to the Pro 3’s sound palette and are derived from a wide range of sources, including a boutique Frequency Shifter, the legendary Fairlight IIx, Sequential’s own TOM drum machine, the human voice and more. The new wavetables load into the user wavetable slots, so you don’t have to worry about messing up your patches that use ones from the factory.
