The Schecter C-1 Platinum See-Thru Black Satin is an updated and improved version of their definitive metal monster. Offering up classic Schecter DNA and playability with uprated pickups and hardware.
The C-1 Platinum features: set-neck construction with Ultra Access, Mahogany body with a carved, quilted maple top edged with silver/platinum multi-ply binding, 3-piece maple neck with rosewood fretboard, thin C neck profile, 24-fret, 25.5 scale, Graph Tech XL nut and satin Chrome hardware.
Powering this beast are a pair of EMG pickups that can deliver classic tones with aggressive possibilities. An 81 in the bridge which is one of the most popular EMG's. Utilising powerful ceramic magnets and close aperture coils, the tone was designed with detailed intensity, incredible amounts of high end cut, and fluid sustain. The neck is equipped with a 85, one of EMG's first pickups. Featuring close aperture coils loaded with Alnico V magnets, the 85 is a powerful guitar pickup with exceptional tone and versatility.
