10-Piece Drum Kit with Mesh Technology
The Roland TD50KV2 is a TD Series format, meaning that the kit is made up of electronic drum pads and a drum module, housed on a rack system. The MDS-STAGE rack is finished in chrome, making the TD-50KV2 stand out on any stage. Whether you are playing stadiums, theatres or smaller gigging venues, the stage lights will reflect beautifully off of the chrome finish.

Each pad features Roland’s illustrious Mesh technology, which has revolutionised the electronic drum kit.
Each Mesh Head that features on the TD-50KV2 has a unique weave, meaning the playability and stick rebound matches the feel of an acoustic drum kit. Better yet, the durability of Roland’s mesh far outweighs any other drum head on the market, each surviving their rigorous 1 million hit testing process.
To further add to the feel and durability, Roland has made each mesh head dual-ply, meaning the mesh feels less “trampoline-like”, which other inferior versions of mesh have been criticised for. The snare pad even features triple-ply, making feel even more like an acoustic snare drum.

Roland Digital Pads are a groundbreaking revelation to the Electronic Drum market. Traditionally Electronic Drum Pads use an analogue jack cable, whereas the PD-140S, CY-18DR and VH-14D connect to the TD-50X Module via a USB connection.
USB is able to transmit 10x the information as an analogue jack cable, meaning speed, velocity, position and duration are all calculated with far higher accuracy. Each Digital Pad performs far more expressively than the jack cable pad equivalent, making for a more realistic playing experience. USB has also unlocked the ability for Electrostatic sensors to be implemented in each digital pad, meaning you can choke/mute the cymbal with just a fingertip and play cross-stick without adjusting any settings.
