"The FP-60X takes all the best features from the FP-30X, going even further in sound quality, adding nearly 300 more tones, a microphone input, more onboard controls, a more powerful amplifier and a speaker enclosure for the oval-shaped speakers.
The action on the FP-60X is the same as the FP-30X, with the addition of over 100 selectable levels of touch response. As well as the ability to tailor the action to your piano-playing style, the FP-60X has a huge library of sounds/instruments, meaning there is a tone for almost every genre you can think of. In addition to the 350 internal sounds, we have built on the realism of our SuperNATURAL sound engine, adding deeper modelling to further enhance the way it interacts with you as you play.
The FP-60X comes with a DP-10 Sustain Pedal, which offers continuous and half-pedalling capabilities, and is the first piano in our range that supports a portable RPU-3 Triple Pedal Unit (sold separately). Using a triple pedal unit makes the playing experience more like a high-end grand piano. With the FP-60X, you can now wirelessly connect either your iOS or Android Smart Mobile Device to our Piano Everyday App. This gives you access to additional sounds, interactive lessons and a diary to log your practice. Piano Everyday also gives you virtual control of the keyboard, enabling you to Split, Layer, change Tone, Volume and many other settings. Our Bluetooth technology is also compatible with a plethora of third party Apps. The Bluetooth capabilities on the FP-60X support Audio, meaning you can stream your favourite songs wirelessly from your compatible Smart device to the speakers of the piano.

The Roland FP-60X sits in the middle of the extremely popular FP range. It has the renowned SuperNATURAL sound engine that is found in many of their successful Digital Instruments and has 256 note polyphony. The FP-60X gives you a realistic and expressive response as if you were playing an acoustic piano, as well as offering premium features for an affordable price.

The PHA-4 Action, with Escapement, Ivory Feel and individually weighted keys, helps you find every minute detail of the sound engine. Roland have also included 100 different levels of touch response, to change the response of the keybed to suit all levels of player. A common misconception is that the physical feel of the action changes with each setting. What Touch Response actually does, is allow you to change how hard/softly you need to strike a key to reach the loudest dynamic. If you are a beginner or inexperienced pianist, this is a great way to help you get used to a weighted action. If you are an advanced level player, you can use this setting to match the response to your finger strength.

With a massive 350 tones, the FP-60X covers all the bases for the modern keyboard player. This ranges from extremely detailed Acoustic Pianos, a choice of dirty/funky/shimmery Electric Pianos, tonewheel/drawbar Organs with Leslie speaker simulation, traditional Church/Pipe Organs, a selection of Woodwind/Brass, Orchestral, Strings, Guitars/Basses, searing Synth Leads/ambient Pads and Drum/Percussion sounds. Each sound within the keyboard can be edited on the fly with the 3-Band EQ and Ambience control, meaning you can tailor the FP-60X to every location you take it to.

As the FP Series are hybrid Digital Pianos/Stage Pianos, they have been designed to be transported, as well as used at home. With the premium features available in the FP-60X, you can use it to rehearse, perform live or record in the studio with confidence. The internal 2x13w oval-shaped speakers, housed in dedicated enclosures, make the FP-60X extremely popular with musicians that rehearse in quiet environments, perform at small venues or do not want to use additional amplification. This is why the FP range has become a mainstay for choral rehearsals, churches and small congregational worship.

The Roland FP-60X features a pair of 1/4 inch jack line outputs. This means you can connect your digital piano to an enhanced sound system in stereo, record into an external recording device or play live via a powerful PA system. Users can choose whether the internal speakers will sound or not, which is a fantastic feature for those that regularly play live. It is also useful for piano tutors, as it enables them to teach a group lesson entirely on headphones. Make the most of home piano lessons/duets with Twin Piano and dual headphone outputs.

Plug the FP-60X (or multiple FP-60X) into the Roland HS-5 and all connected users can disengage their speakers, but still, hear each other via headphones only.

With the FP-60X, you can play along to an audio track from either the Aux In, a connected USB flash drive or from a wirelessly connected Smart Device via Bluetooth. This is the perfect feature for those that like to play along to their favourite songs. The FP-60X also has Bluetooth MIDI, making the keyboard compatible with the Roland Piano Every Day and Roland Piano Designer apps, as well as a host of other software. You can trigger the sounds of your favourite Software Instruments, record to a DAW or interact with numerous learning apps on your favourite compatible Smart Device.

Roland make a series of dedicated accessories to further enhance the experience of an FP Series Digital Pianos. By opting for the Roland KSC-72 Stand and KPD-90 Triple Pedal Unit, you can transform your FP-60X into a stylish modern looking Digital Piano. You can then quickly remove the FP-60X and take it to your gig, rehearsal or studio session. When returning home again, simply place it back on its stand! As the FP-60X fastens to the wooden KSC-72 with four thumbscrews, users will find that it is supported more sturdily than an X-Stand. Users can also use the Roland RPU-3 Triple Pedal Unit for more portability.
