The body is paired with a Mahogany neck, which is topped with a glass-like Rosewood fretboard, 22 Medium Jumbo frets and majestic PRS bird inlays.

This comfortable profile features an asymmetrical curve for a “played-in” feel and a slightly thicker, old-school carve that fills the hand nicely. The slinkier signature 24.594" scale length, from which the model takes its name, facilitates effortless bending and vibrato.

PRS have equipped with McCarty 594 Hollowbody II with a pair of TCI-tuned 58/15 LT humbuckers, which have an articulate tone with a vintage flavour. These “low turn” pickups are based on the '50s PAF, delivering the remarkable sweetness and nuance of that hallowed design.

Whilst the traditional 4-pot control layout can conjure a wide array of inspiring tones, the addition of coil-splitting for each pickup makes the McCarty 594 Hollowbody II a truly versatile instrument.
