The SD531 was designed by Jason Bonham. It features a relatively short taper and a large wood modified acorn-shaped tip for added power and volume. Maple is a very light wood which allows for a large diameter stick without the weight. Small sticks are ultra light for precision and subtlety.
Having a Dad who's obviously a hard act to follow hasn't put Jason off. A maturing of the years has seen him take his rightful place in the drum set for any Zeppelin reunion gigs that may or may not be on the cards. These are his signature sticks which feature the three circles logo, carrying on the family tradition.
