Ozark 2077 Electric Mandolin Overview
This is a classic A-style copy mandolin. It is the classic F-hole with a select spruce soundboard top. It has a clear bright sound with fair acoustic projection,but comes into it’s own when plugged-in on-stage.
The body is dark stained mahogany with white protective binding on front and back. The back is a standard ‘flat back. The arched top is select spruce with double ‘F’ holes. The top is fitted with an adjustable ‘piezzo active’ rosewood compensated bridge, black/white edged scratch-plate and an ‘A’ style plate type tailpiece with engraved cover. The tailpiece is designed to accept loop end strings. The under-the-bridge pick-up is controlled by two separate controls …tone and volume.
