The Meinl Byzance extra dry China cymbal is a unique china with a dark, dirty sound that has a wide spectrum of frequencies. An explosive attack due to the medium weight and the partial lathing.
Extra Dry cymbals have big hammer marks which in combination with the untreated, natural finish enable an extremely dark sound with a short sustain. They exhibit dominant lows with an esoteric character.
The cymbal is completely hand-hammered into shape and satisfies the highest demands of its users. Every Byzance cymbal is a piece of art and has its own unique sound characteristics which can never be duplicated.
