Mad About SU8-YL Soprano Ukulele, Yellow Overview

  • Now fitted with carbon black strings which offer a brighter sound and improved tuning response to standard nylon ukulele strings
  • Ideal starter ukulele for students and adults, thanks to its geared machine heads, allows for precise tuning
  • Included bag makes it ideal to take to and from school, rehearsals, lessons and even gigs!
  • Also includes pick and spare set of strings; you are ready to play out of the box
  • Fun to play and is a stepping stone to learning to play the guitar

Precision tuning

Our soprano ukulele features open geared machine heads which not only allow for fine adjustment, precise tuning and easy maintenance but also gives your ukulele an authentic look. Unlike cheaper, alternative ‘pin-style’ tuning pegs, our open-back geared machine heads allow you to control small, subtle turns to achieve a more accurate tuning experience.

All-new carbon ukulele strings

The Mad About Soprano Ukuleles are now fitted with all-new carbon ukulele strings. With the same, soft, fingertip-friendly, feel of the standard nylon strings, these strings offer a longer-lasting tuning & clearer, mellow sound so you can get the very best out of your new uke.

Take to school, lessons or rehearsals

If you’re going to be regularly taking your new ukulele between school, lessons and performances, you’ll need a gig bag you can rely on. There’s no need to spend time looking elsewhere as you’ll receive one as part of your purchase. It’ll protect your uke from dust and make it easier for you to carry it around.

Everything you need to play right away

We’ve thrown in everything you could need to get started as soon as you unbox your brand new Mad About Ukulele. Why not start by practising your up-strums and rhythm with the included pick? Enjoy creating a variety of mellow tones and rest assured that you’ve got a spare set of strings just in case one may break.
