The Onyx12’s Perkins EQ takes inspiration from Mackie engineer Cal Perkins, based on a classic British EQ from mixing consoles in the 60s and 70s, delivering a wider, more musical Q filter with a sweepable midrange. The digital effects engine has reverbs, delays and more that are all customisable, making the Onyx8 extremely versatile.
The Onyx12 has USB connectivity so you can create professional-quality mixes with ease. Just connect your Mac or PC, and access high-resolution 24-bit/96kHz multitrack recording into your favourite DAW. If you don’t have a DAW, each mixer includes two huge software bundles to get you started, or you can record a stereo mix straight to an SD card
The Onyx12 Mixer provides a straightforward user experience with a full-colour display and single-knob interface so you can find and control FX parameters, onboard SD recording, and playback, with physical buttons for Previous, Next, Record, and Play/Pause functions. You can store up to 6 user FX presets for easy recall.
