Line 6 Helix Control Pedal Overview
The Helix Control is the perfect companion to the Helix Rack and is essential if you plan on using the Rack in a live setting. With twelve capacitive-touch footswitches and three expression pedal inputs, you can take advantage of Pedal Edit mode for hands-free tweaking. All you have to do is select the block you want to edit - which then spreads all parameters across the board - and then adjust the chosen value with an expression pedal.
The visual feedback provided by the customisable scribble strips and the coloured LEDs makes the user interface a lot more intuitive as you can see all the footswitch assignments and their effect types at a glance.
The Helix Control connects to the Rack via Ethernet and is also powered this way, so you can enjoy a tidier onstage setup. The chassis is constructed from rugged bent steel and the footswitches are made to withstand repeated stomps - the Control won’t let you down when you’re in the throes of performing!
