Laney DB500H Digbeth 500W Bass Head Overview

The Laney DB500H Digbeth Bass Head packs clarity, punch and a wide dynamic range with ultra-modern functionality paired with vintage appeal. The DB500H appeals to modern bass players looking for a range of FET & TUBE tones not previously available in a super-compact, powerful and portable bass amp.

Since 1967 Laney has created quality amps dedicated to supporting musicians with high-end performances. Designed by musicians, for musicians, Laney inspires those from beginner to professional to obtain quality sound and give their bass playing justice.

One of its main functions is its ‘EQ Seesaw’ control. It has a central position and the ability to increase the overall mid to high frequencies and decrease the lows by turning it clockwise, opening your sounds to more presence especially in a live performance. Turning the control anti-clockwise creates the opposite effect, decreasing the mid to high frequencies and increasing the lows which create a more resonant sound.

A necessity to the Laney Digbeth is FX Loops, which allows you to add effects between the input/output section on an amp. FX loops are important because they have additional effects on its distorted pre-amp section to produce various types of delay. FX loops allow you to put time-based effects after the distorted pre-amp section.

The Laney Digbeth includes a XLR-DI which scraps the need for mic-ing. This gives you the ability to connect your amp to a PA system or recording interface while having the option to reduce or remove unwanted hum with a ground lift switch.

Other features include a headphone socket and balanced DI output with source switching.
