Kramer Baretta, Ebony Overview
High-octane shred machine with a red-hot Seymour Duncan humbucker, Floyd Rose tremolo and ultra-fast playability.
80s Icon
The Kramer Baretta is one of the most iconic electric guitars of the '80s and was once favoured by the shred legend himself, Eddie Van Halen. When it comes to playing Hard Rock riffs and stadium-shaking solos in the vein of Motley Crue, Bon Jovi and Def Leppard - the Kramer Baretta truly excels. This model is part of Kramer’s Original Collection, which captures the exciting look, feel and tone of Kramer’s designs from that classic era.
Perfect for Fast Playing
The Baretta features an agile double-cutaway body that’s carved from solid Maple for a clear, articulate and defined core tone. The distinctive cutaways provide easy access to all of the Maple fretboard’s 22 frets, allowing you to pull off those soaring anthemic solos at the dusty end. The 3-piece Maple neck is sculpted to Kramer’s lighting-fast Thin neck profile that’s perfect for intense, technically-demanding styles where effortless playability is key.
Premium Seymour Duncan Pickup
Fueling the Kramer Baretta incendiary tone is its high-output Seymour Duncan JB zebra-coil humbucker. The JB Model humbucker has been a staple Seymour Duncan pickup for over four decades, having helped shape the sound of Rock, Blues, Country, Punk, Grunge and Thrash genres as we know them today. Powerful low-end, chunky upper-mids and crisp, detailed highs are the name of the game whilst the hot output can help push your amp over the edge. Whether you’re playing clean rhythms or soloing with tonnes of distortion, the JB pickup has got your back. The Master Volume knob features a push/pull switch that changes the pickup from Series to Parallel for an extra level of versatility.
Floyd Rose System
Kramer has outfitted this Baretta with a double-locking Floyd Rose 1000 series tremolo. Whether you’re adding a little vibrato to your chords or going all-out with extreme divebombs, this rock-solid system will keep you in tune.
Finish Options
The Kramer Baretta is presented in three eye-catching finishes - Ebony, Jumper Red and Bumblebee Yellow. There are also left-handed models for the shredding southpaws out there.
