Ibanez PC14MHCE Acoustic, Weathered Black Open Pore Overview
The Ibanez PC14MHCE Acoustic is a great entry-level guitar with an open-pore Okoume body and a striking weathered black finish. Okoume is a tonewood originating from Central Africa - it’s a more lightweight and sustainable alternative to mahogany and produces a full, rich sound. It also features a smooth Nyatoh neck that has a laurel fretboard with 20 frets, and Ibanez Advantage bridge pins which make it easier to restring your guitar as they are easier to take in and out than normal bridge pins. The Ibanez PC14MHCE also has an Ibanez undersaddle pickup, an Ibanez preamp letting you choose your frequencies, and a built-in tuner.
